Merchant of Venice

The Merchant of Venice is a fast-paced hour-long adaptation of the play by William Shakespeare, about a Venetian merchant, Antonio, who borrows money from the moneylender Shylock, to help his friend Bassanio pursue love. When the debt cannot be repaid, Shylock demands the money promised in their contract, leading to a tense courtroom battle over justice, mercy, and revenge. Blending romance, humor, and conflict, the play explores prejudice, loyalty, and the cost of human compassion.

When doors open: Auditorium doors open to the public at 6:30 pm

Ticket pricing and how to purchase: All tickets are general admission at the door. $15 cash or check payable to JFK Drama. Please note that seating will be limited and all tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
