Darien Lake Music Festival
JFK High School Concert Choir and Band competed at the Darien Lake Music Festival on Friday, May 15, 2026. Concert Choir earned 2nd place in their class, and Band earned 1st place in their class!

NYSSMA All-State
Our JFK High School Music Department was represented at the NYSSMA Zone 1 Jr. High Area All-State Concert Band at Pioneer High School. Our student was selected for this highly competitive ensemble out of musicians from across Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties. Bravo!

What a night to remember!
We celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new turf field and concession stand with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a halftime light show featuring our varsity cheerleaders, which lit up the night sky. Our Bears went on to claim victory (28-6) over the Saint Mary Lancers under the lights!

ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award
We are excited to announce that the Cheektowaga-Sloan UFSD has been awarded the ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award for our work with the Eric County Restorative Justice Coalition. This award will be presented to our district at a special ECASB dinner in June 2025.

The New York State Education Department is preparing for the administration of the 2026 New York State Regents Examination Field Tests, and John F. Kennedy High School has been selected to give Field Tests in the following subject areas:
- Physics
- US History
- ELA III
